About The Role
As a Librarian, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and resource-rich environment for students and staff. Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the school’s library resources, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.
Organize and conduct library sessions for students, encouraging them to explore books and research topics.
Support teachers and students in finding relevant resources for academic projects and research.
Plan and implement library programs and events to engage students in reading and literacy.
Assist with cataloging new materials and maintaining an organized library system.
Foster a positive reading culture throughout the school by promoting books, literature, and educational resources.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science, Education, or a related field.
Experience working in a school library or in a similar role.
Strong organizational skills and knowledge of library management systems.
Passion for literature and promoting reading among students.
Ability to engage and inspire students to develop a love for books and learning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
