About The Role
As a School/Career Counselor, you will guide and support students in their academic and personal development, helping them make informed decisions about their educational and career paths. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing advice on career planning, goal-setting, and ensuring students are well-prepared for the future.
Key Responsibilities
Provide career guidance and counseling to students to help them explore potential career paths.
Assist students with university applications, personal statements, and scholarship opportunities.
Organize workshops, career fairs, and presentations to expose students to a variety of career options.
Counsel students on social, emotional, and academic challenges.
Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students’ overall well-being.
Develop and maintain a career resource library for students to access information on careers, universities, and apprenticeships.
Support students in setting personal and academic goals and tracking their progress.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, or a related field.
Recognized qualification in career counseling or guidance.
Minimum 2 years of experience in school counseling or career guidance (international or Gulf experience is a plus!).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A genuine passion for supporting students in their academic and career development.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
