About The Role
As Academic Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the academic programs, curriculum development, and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning across all K-12 levels. You will work closely with school leadership to implement academic strategies and ensure that students receive a world-class education. The ideal candidate will bring strong educational leadership, an analytical mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement in teaching practices.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and guide the development, implementation, and review of the school’s academic programs and curricula.
Monitor and ensure high standards of teaching and learning across all subjects and grade levels.
Collaborate with teachers and school leadership to ensure that instructional practices are aligned with educational goals.
Provide professional development opportunities and support for teaching staff.
Analyze student performance data to inform curriculum adjustments and improve academic outcomes.
Ensure the academic environment fosters critical thinking, creativity, and student engagement.
Manage academic policies and processes in alignment with the school’s mission and goals.
Requirements
M.Ed or equivalent advanced degree in education.
At least 5 years of experience in a senior academic leadership role within a K-12 school.
Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional practices in international education.
Proven ability to lead academic initiatives and improve student outcomes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
A commitment to fostering an inclusive, high-performing academic environment.
